Adult homes are available with many different resources. Speaking with your independent insurance company may also come up with some facilities that are accepted by them. Senior living doesn't have to be as restrictive as a nursing home. Apartment complexes for the elderly are also available. They can live as they normally would, but still have access to nurses much easier than if they were living in their old home. Citizens of a residential adult home may also be a good place to ask around. See if they're happy with where they're staying to get a better idea on how well they're treated. Each center or community will cost differently. Find personal customer satisfaction reviews from family members that may have had a loved one stay in a certain community. Make sure they are up to date on their licenses and passed their last inspection.
